Focus on Canlon | Promoting High-Quality Development of the Industry: Canlon Participates in the Revision Meeting of Three National Standards (TPO/PVC/CPE) and One Industry Standard

Recently, a meeting was successfully held in Suzhou to revise three national standards: "Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) Waterproof Membrane," "Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Waterproof Membrane," and "Chlorinated Polyethylene Waterproof Membrane," which are under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee on Standardization of Lightweight and Decorative Building Materials (SAC/TC 195) and the Subcommittee on Waterproofing Materials for Buildings (TC195/SC1), and to organize the revision of the industry standard "Waterborne Polymer Modified Bitumen Waterproof Coating."

In the revision of three national standards and one industry standard, Jiangsu Canlon Building Materials Co., Ltd. participated deeply as a core drafting unit. Wang Yazhou, General Manager of Canlon Applied Technology R&D Center, and Shan Yongsheng, Deputy Dean of the R&D Center, attended the meeting to exchange ideas and contribute Canlon's innovative and practical achievements to the standardization and systematization of industry standards.

During the meeting, the experts and representatives present had a thorough exchange on the relevant texts and put forward many constructive suggestions on technical indicators, test methods, text descriptions, and applicable scenarios, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent optimization and improvement of the texts.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Secretary-General Zhu Zhiyuan delivered a summary speech. He emphasized that the revision of the three national standards is a time-sensitive and demanding task, and hoped that all units would attach great importance to it, cooperate closely, and coordinate all aspects of the work to complete the standard revision tasks with high standards and high efficiency, thereby laying a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the building waterproofing industry.
