The Anji "Two Mountains" Future Science and Technology City Cultural and Art Center project is located in Anji County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is a major project of Zhejiang Province's "Thousand Projects and Trillion Yuan" initiative. The total construction area is approximately 118,000 square meters. The center is divided into six functional areas, including a comprehensive grand theater, a high-end conference center, and a cultural center. It is a comprehensive urban landmark that integrates culture, art, and leisure.

Inspired by a "bamboo leaf tea field," the project features giant, uniquely shaped "bamboo leaves" that appear to be placed amidst the tea plantations when viewed from above. This distinctive design is achieved through a 28,000-square-meter metal roof, showcasing an architectural aesthetic that harmoniously blends humanity and nature. The metal roofing system needed to balance high durability, eco-friendliness, and the waterproofing reliability required for its complex structure. Canlon provided high-performance polymer waterproof membranes tailored to the project's specific needs, effectively enhancing the overall airtightness and watertightness of the roofing system and meeting stringent waterproofing standards.

Key performance advantages of Canlons polymer waterproof membrane

1) Superior wind-uplift resistance (Canlon has the only wind-uplift resistance laboratory among domestic waterproofing material manufacturers, which tests the air tightness, water tightness, and wind load-bearing capacity of roofing systems. Tests show that the wind-uplift resistance index of TPO membranes can reach up to 11.5KPa, and that of PVC membranes can reach up to 9.3KPa).

2) Long-term exposure durability: The service life of the exposed structures can reach more than 25 years, far exceeding the national standard requirements, and is suitable for metal roofs of large public buildings and industrial plants that are exposed to the natural environment for a long time.

3) International Green Energy Certification: Canlon TPO/PVC waterproof membrane has passed the product rating recognition of the Cool Roofing Rating Council (CRRC) in the United States, making it one of the few domestic companies to hold certifications for both polymer materials. The certified products have reached internationally advanced levels in core indicators such as solar reflectivity and thermal emissivity, which can help building projects obtain LEED green building certification scores.

Nestled against verdant mountains and connected by waterways, Canlon will continue to build new landmark buildings with "refined integration and visible honesty," contributing more to ecological construction and high-quality development.
