The third phase expansion project of Lanzhou Zhongchuan International Airport is a new bridge connecting to the world for Lanzhou. Its importance goes without saying. The total construction area of the expanded T3 terminal has reached about 400,000 square meters, which is twice the total area of the existing T1 and T2 terminals. It is equipped with more than 60 boarding bridges, making it one of the airports with the largest number of boarding bridges in domestic terminals, providing extremely convenient boarding services.

According to previously disclosed information, the total investment in the third phase expansion project of Lanzhou Zhongchuan International Airport is about 33.4 billion yuan. During the construction process, a number of innovative technologies and processes were applied, which significantly improved the construction efficiency and project quality. For example, the application of prefabrication technology in the machine room shortened the construction period by 40%; the use of welding robots not only improved the quality of the project, but also saved 70% of manpower. In addition, 98% of the equipment has been localized, including the country's leading intelligent baggage system.
