On November 19, the results of the 2024 "Building Waterproofing Industry Science and Technology Award-Engineering Technology Award (Jinyu Award-Waterproofing Project)" were announced, and the Shenzhen Bao'an Airport Satellite Hall Waterproofing Project in which CANLON participated in the construction won the silver award.
The "Building Waterproofing Industry Science and Technology Award - Engineering Technology Award", also known as the "Jinyu Award", is the highest award in the engineering industry, jointly evaluated by the China Building Waterproofing Association and China Building Waterproofing magazine, which is awarded once a year.
It is worth mentioning that the Shenzhen Bao'an Airport Satellite Terminal Project, as a carrier for recording the progress of waterproofing technology and one of the important data for compiling results, was also selected into the 2024 white paper "High-quality Engineering Waterproof Materials and Technologies", further reflecting the value of CANLON's waterproofing projects.
Shenzhen Bao'an Airport Satellite Terminal Project is an important hub project for Shenzhen to fully build the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area" and "the pilot demonstration area of socialism with Chinese characteristics", and it is also the largest airport project undertaken by China Construction in the Greater Bay Area. The project applied CANLON MBP polymer self-adhesive membrane pre-applied waterproofing membrane, and was constructed by Suzhou CANLON Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., laying a solid foundation for building an international airport in the Bay Area, a first-class aviation hub, and a global cargo distribution center.
