As one of the drafting units, Canlon participated in the revision of the national standard and received a Letter of Appreciation from the Technical Supervision and Research Center for Building Materials Industry.
Over the past 20 years, with the continuous emergence of new types of waterproof materials, the application of waterproof materials has continued to expand, and the artificial climate accelerated aging test equipment has been updated; The international standard (ISO) has been revised, and GB/T18244-2000 "Aging Test Method for Building Waterproof Materials" has not adapted to the development of the situation and needs to be revised urgently.
The Testing Center of the Advanced Technology Research Institute of Canlon Polymer Construction Materials Production Base has passed the national CNAS authoritative accreditation, and has injected a large amount of funds into the research on the anti-aging properties of materials to introduce imported testing equipment. The PVC/TPO waterproof membrane produced by CANLON can reach 8000/10000 hours of accelerated aging by artificial climate respectively, and the exposed service life is more than 25 years, and has accumulated a large number of aging test methods.
The revision, promulgation and implementation of the national standard GB/T18244-2022 "Aging Test Method for Building Waterproof Materials" will further improve the product quality of China's waterproof materials, prolong its durability and service life, and ensure the quality of construction projects and infrastructure.
