On February 12, 2023, Zhu Dongqing, Secretary-General of China Building Waterproof Association, Zhang Yong, Chief Engineer of China Building Waterproof Association, Zhu Zhiyuan, Chief Engineer of China Building Materials Inspection and Certification Group Suzhou Co., Ltd., and Xian Yongbiao, Vice President of China Building Waterproof Association, visited CANLON and conducted technical exchanges on the new industry standard "General Specification for Waterproofing of Buildings and Municipal Engineering", and interpreted the new rules and regulations. Mr. Qian Lindi, Chairman of CANLON, President, Zhang Yong, Executive President, Chen Hongjin, Vice President and other senior leaders warmly received the visiting experts and leaders.

"General Specifications for Waterproofing of Buildings and Municipal Engineering" (GB 55030-2022) is the first mandatory waterproof specification officially implemented in China. It redefines the waterproof level and improves the durability of waterproof materials. All provisions must be enforced, and the relevant regulations in the current engineering construction standards are also based on this specification, which has a status similar to the cornerstone of the Constitution in the construction waterproof industry.

At the exchange meeting, Mr. Zhu Dongqing introduced the idea of compiling the "General Specification" and its significance to the waterproofing industry. It also lays a good foundation for comprehensively improving the quality of waterproofing projects, reducing the leakage rate of buildings and eradicating chronic leakage diseases.

At the meeting, Mr. Qian Lindi appreciated the leaders of the association for coming to CANLON to do the specification interpretation work. He promised that CANLON will play a leading role in the industry and increase the promotion and implementation of standards.At the same time, CANLON will organize the company's technical backbone to increase investment in product research and development, production technology, construction methods, and in-depth design to continuously improve the company's core competitiveness.
