Focus Canlon | The Annual Meeting Of The Expert Committee Of China Building Waterproofing Association Was Successfully Held In Canlon CPCM Park

On September 26, 2022, the 2022 China Building Waterproofing Association Expert Committee Annual Meeting, was successfully held in Suzhou Canlon Polymer Construction Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CPCM Park). Expert committee members gathered together to offer advice and suggestions for exchanging the current industry development situation, technology and market hot issues, and giving full play to the role of the expert committee as a think tank.

Accompanied by Mr. Li Zhongren(CEO of Canlon), the experts from the committee visited the Canlon Advanced Technology Research Institute, the Wind Uplift Testing Laboratory and the National Training Center for Polymer Materials. They highly appreciated Canlon's investment in the introduction of advanced equipment and innovative research and development.

The meeting was chaired by Zhang Yong, chief engineer of China Building Waterproofing Association and deputy chairman of the expert committee, and introduced the participating expert members one by one. Chairman Qian Lindi, as the host, extended a warm welcome to the guests who came from afar. He said that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, under the correct guidance of the state, the association will adhere to standard guidance and green development, in order to optimize the industrial structure, promote the transformation and upgrading of the industry, strengthen the industry brand building and contribute expert wisdom, fully demonstrating the expert demeanor of the committee. It is hoped that through this meeting, the experience and wisdom of the majority of waterproof people can be gathered, and joint efforts will be made to build a new pattern of high-quality development of the waterproof industry in the new era.

The meeting held a ceremony for the addition of expert members, and Wang Gang, Dong Biao, Han Chunfeng, Ye Ji, and Jiang Yajun were appointed as the new expert members.

At the meeting, a number of committee members and experts came to the stage to share and introduce the latest products and technical solutions in the field of waterproofing.

Hu Jun, chairman of Hangzhou Jintang Building Waterproof Co., Ltd. and professor-level senior engineer, shared the theme of "Rigid Waterproofing and Self-Waterproofing of Concrete Structures", introduced the design and construction points of rigid waterproofing and self-waterproofing of concrete structures, and analyzed them in combination with the current market demand.

Mr. Dong Biao, the senior engineer and chief engineer of the Building Curtain Wall Design Institute of China Construction Southwest Institute, shared the theme of "Welding Stainless Steel Roofing System" and introduced the key technologies and R&D directions of stainless steel roofing product innovation.

Mr. Shan Yongsheng, Director of Canlon R&D Center, shared the theme of "R&D and Engineering Practice of TPO Membrane Composite Metal Sheet", and introduced the R&D process and inspection process of Canlon's TMP integrated panel system, as well as the construction plan and detailed treatment of the system.

After the meeting, the experts and committee members went to the plant roof of the Canlon CPCM Park to visit the practical application effect of the integrated photovoltaic roof system, and exchange and discuss the design and construction of the photovoltaic roof system on the spot.

The successful holding of the annual meeting of the Expert Committee of China Building Waterproofing Association brought together the wisdom of all experts, which is conducive to the continuous development of technology, specialization and standardization of the building waterproofing industry. In the future, Canlon will always focus on the high-quality development of the industry, and work together with the experts of the association to jointly promote the continuous progress of the waterproof business!
