On May 12, 2024, the review meeting of the China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization standard "Technical Code for Application of Thermoplastic Polyolefin Metal Plates for Building Roofs" (Draft for Review) (hereinafter referred to as the "Code"), compiled by Jiangsu Canlon Building Materials Co., Ltd. and China Building Standard Design Institute Co., Ltd. in conjunction with relevant units, was successfully held at Canlon CPCM Park in a combination of on-site and video conferences.

The review meeting was chaired by Yang Jinchun, deputy secretary- general of the Building and Municipal Engineering Product Application Branch of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association. Tang Yajun, deputy director of the Technical Standards Department of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association, Gu Taichang, secretary-general of the Building and Municipal Engineering Product Application Branch, Xian Jinghong, project director of the Building Product Application Technology Research Institute of China Building Standard Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. , Shang Yufei, chief engineer and review experts, Li Zhongren , president of Jiangsu Canlon Building Materials Co., Ltd. , Wang Pingping, vice president of strategy, Wang Yazhou, general manager of the Roofing System Technology Center , and more than 20 representatives of the compilation team attended the meeting.

The review committee expert group is headed by Cai Zhaoyun, a professor-level senior engineer of China Metallurgical Construction Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Zhu Zhiyuan, a professor-level senior engineer of China Building Materials Inspection and Certification Group Suzhou Co., Ltd., as the deputy head. After listening to the report, the review expert group reviewed the contents of the "Regulations" line by line and believed that the contents of the "Regulations" were scientific and reasonable, highly operational, coordinated with the current relevant standards, and innovatively developed polymer membrane metal composite corrugated plate products and engineering application technologies, reaching the international advanced level. The experts unanimously agreed to pass the review of the draft "Regulations".
