MBP 300
CANLON
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
MBP 300 is a superior multi-layer composite waterproofing material, consisting of a high-performance TPO sheet, a specially formulated polymer adhesive layer, and a unique weather-resistant protective layer.
USES
MBP-300 can be use on concrete underlayment surfaces, or for vertical surfaces of external protection and internal attachment construction methods.
By directly pouring concrete onto the applied MBP-300, it can form a continuous and permanent full adhesion bond, effectively preventing water migration issues.
CHARACTERISTICS/ADVANTAGES
• Forms permanent bond with concrete, preventing water flow even if damaged.
• Unaffected by substrate deformation.
• No protective layer needed; rebar and concrete can be installed immediately after.
• Easy to construct; no primer, chamfering, or reinforcement layers required.
• Installable at temperatures above -4˚C.
• Provides complete sealing at lap edges and cut areas.
• Maintains high peel strength in long-term water immersion.

BASIS of PRODUCT DATA
All technical data stated in this Product Data sheet are based on laboratory tests. Actual measured data may vary due to circumstances beyond our control.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTION
Substrate quality
The substrate surface must be solid and compact to prevent the membrane from moving during concrete pouring; it must be smooth without gaps or holes larger than 12 mm.
Application method
Loose laid and apply according to relevant application manual and installation instructions.
MBP 300 can be applied horizontally to smooth prepared concrete or well rolled and compacted earth or crushed stone substrate. Place TPO film side to the substrate with the protective sand layer facing towards the concrete pour. End laps should be staggered to avoid a buildup of layers.
Accurately position succeeding membrane to overlap the previous membrane 3 in. (75 mm) along the marked selvedge. Ensure the underside of the succeeding sheet is clean, dry and free from contamination before attempting to overlap. Peel back the plastic release liner from between the overlaps a lowing the two overlapped layers to bond together. Ensure a continuous bond is achieved without creases and roll firmly with a heavy roller.
