DESCRIPTION & FEATURES:  

·Likfix 300 is a ready-to-use cold-applied bitumen emulsion primer for use in roofing, walls and waterproofing assemblies. Likfix 300 is an ultra-low VOC primer used to increase the adhesion of torch-applied and self-adhered membranes.

·Water-based, low-odor, VOC compliant

·Can be hand-applied or sprayed

·Suitable for use on a variety of substrates, including masonry, concrete, metal and wood

APPLICATION:

·Thoroughly mix Likfix 300 prior to application. Likfix 300 is applied to the approved area via brush, roller or spray equipment. Note: Airless sprayers are not suitable for use. Likfix 300 is applied at a rate of 0.2 to 0.4 kg per square meter on non porous substrates. Likfix 300 must be thoroughly dry before applying the waterproofing membrane

STORAGE:

·Store the container in an upright position to prevent damage. Store in a clean, dry location and cover as necessary to protect from environmental damage such as extreme cold, heat or moisture. Storage temperature range should be between 10^oC and 32^oC.

Limitation

Adequate surface preparation is the key to proper adhesion. Ensure application surface is clean, dry and free of debris prior to application. Ambient and surface temperatures must be 5°Cand rising. Do not attempt application if ice, snow, moisture or dew are present. Apply membrane within 24 hours of primer application. If primer becomes fully dry, dirty and tack-free, re-prime the substrate as necessary to achieve membrane adhesion.
