2023 Construction Waterproofing Industry Annual Conference in Hangzhou 
On December 7, the 2023 Construction Waterproofing Industry Annual Conference and the 23rd China Waterproofing Technology and Market Seminar were held at the Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel in Hangzhou. More than 900 representatives of the eighth council, executive directors, presidents and vice presidents, and members of the board of supervisors, as well as member representatives, construction waterproofing enterprises, local societies, scientific research institutions, and media from all over the country attended the conference.
At the 7th High-end Forum of Future Leaders of the Waterproofing Industry held at the same time as the conference, Qian Lindi, chairman of CANLON, as the vice president of the China Building Waterproofing Association and the representative of the chairman of the waterproof listed company, was invited to the stage to communicate and share how to face opportunities and challenges under the current situation, how to stick to the bottom line, enhance industry value and corporate practices, and strategic thinking on high-quality development of the industry.

Mr. Qian Lindi shared his thoughts and insights on the development and changes of the industry with the theme "Facing The Industry's Cold Winter, How Can Companies Break Through?" He shared from four aspects: sticking to the bottom line, strategic focus, innovation and win-win cooperation, and proposed that "if the industry is cold, the heart will not be cold" - sticking to the bottom line is to stick to the future of the entire industry.
At the same time, Mr. Qian Lindi shared many insights on corporate transformation and innovative development. He said that to seize a transformation goal, we must unswervingly achieve it. If an enterprise wants to stand and make money, it must maintain its strategic focus regardless of the weather; innovation will always be the main theme of the industry, and innovation will be achieved when there is a new track. Finally, he encouraged industry members to make full use of the integration power of leading companies under the leadership of the association to get out of the cold winter and go to the spring together.
This conference heard and reviewed 2 major reports and 7 proposals, and commended the Technology Progress Award, Engineering Technology Award (Jin Yu Award), Waterproof Industry Patent Award, Advanced Member Enterprises of the Association, the winners of the 2023 Waterproofing Competition and Inspector Competition, the winners of the Championship Competition, and the Technical Experts In The Industry.
Among them, the "Underground Waterproofing Project of Taizhou Municipal Party School Relocation Project" participated by Canlon won the Silver Award of Jin Yu Award .
Canlon 's invention patent "A hot-melt adhesive film that is resistant to scratching and boiling, its preparation method and lamination board" (TMP Integrated Panel) (Patent No.: ZL20221 0579553.1) won the 2023 "China Patent Award Recommendation-- Waterproof Industry Patent Award(Gold Award)".
Ms. Li Shuangfeng of Canlon’s Quality Management Center won the runner-up in the 2023 National Construction Waterproofing Industry (Physical Performance Inspector) Vocational Skills Competition.
Xu Chenchao, the construction instructor of CANLON won the championship in the waterproof coating project of the 2023 National Construction Waterproof Industry (Waterproofer) Vocational Skills Competition and was awarded the title of "Technical Expert in the Construction Waterproof Industry"; Liu Kan, the manager of the construction guidance department, won the runner-up in the polymer waterproofing project.
The conference finally announced the commendation list of advanced member companies for 2021-2022, and CANLON was honored to be selected.
2023 is a year where opportunities and challenges coexist in the waterproof industry. Faced with changes in the overall macro situation, industry companies have made changes with a keen sense of smell and precise preparations.
