Classic Case Review | Taizhou Old City Renovation Project

In 2021, CCTV's "News Broadcast" featured a special report on a benchmark urban renewal project—the Taizhou Old City Renovation Project in Zhejiang Province. The video showcased the Taizhou Jiaojiang Bridge East Project, constructed by Greentown Leju, as a model, demonstrating how the living environment of residents in the old city area has been improved. Taizhou's old city area suffers from numerous dilapidated and unsafe buildings, prompting residents to yearn for relocation to new homes. To accomplish this massive and important task, the Canlon technical team tailored the waterproofing solutions to the specific needs of different waterproofing areas. The waterproofing materials supplied included MBP-P polymer self-adhesive waterproof membrane for the base slab, MPU polyurethane waterproof coating and MBBAC wet-applied membrane for the roof slab, MBA-CL cross-laminated waterproof membrane for the side walls and roof, and JS polymer cement waterproof coating. The total project area was approximately 200,000 square meters, covering multiple plots including Qiaodong, Xueyuan Road East, Fuqiang Village, and Jiaozhi Water City.
