The Santaihe shantytown renovation EPC project in Huanggang City is a key project with a total investment of 556 million yuan. It plans to build 7 high-rise residential buildings and 764 resettlement houses. In order to provide a more livable ecological living environment for the residents of the Santaihe shantytown demolition, Canlon designed the SDR siphon drainage collection system according to the main building layout of the project. A total of 12 independent breathable observation pipes and 7 siphon outlets were designed, and the garage roof siphon drainage system area is about 18,000 square meters. The outlet is connected to the observation well, and then connected to the municipal rainwater well through the drainage pipe, so that the infiltration water on the garage roof is discharged to the outdoor rainwater pipe network.
Canlon's SDR siphon drainage system is deeply integrated with the concept of sponge city construction. It can be cleverly integrated with sunken green spaces, rainwater gardens, dry creeks, grass-planted ditches, permeable pavements, etc. It can not only become a part of the community landscape, but also a "sponge" of "natural accumulation, natural infiltration, and natural purification". Through "infiltration, stagnation, storage, purification, use, and drainage", rainwater can be naturally infiltrated, purified layer by layer, and the water quality is improved; while achieving rainwater regulation and peak shifting to reduce the formation of urban waterlogging, rainwater can also be reused for greening and watering flowers.
