Focus on Canlon | Building “Good Houses”: Canlon lays a solid foundation for quality with systematic and effective solutions.

Recently, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development released the "Guidelines for the Construction of 'Good Houses' (Trial)," which sets out four core standards for high-quality housing construction in the new era: "safety and durability, health and comfort, green and low-carbon, and smart and convenient." Among them, waterproofing, moisture-proofing, leakage prevention, and damp-proofing are key bottom lines related to residential safety and quality. As a leading enterprise deeply rooted in the field of polymer waterproofing, Canlon closely aligns with the comprehensive requirements for "good housing" construction. It actively participates in the compilation of numerous national standards, national standard atlases, authoritative local standard atlases, and national reference atlases.

Honor Canlon | Good News! Canlon Group Wins Second Prize of Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award

Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government awarded the Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Award Certificate. The project "Research and Industrialization of Nuclear Power Grade High-Reliability Self-Healing Special MBP Impermeable Composite Material", completed by Canlon and Southeast University, won the second prize of Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.

Cost Comparison: Why Polymer Waterproofing Materials Are More "Economical" Over Their Full Lifecycle?

In the decision-making process for building waterproofing materials, a long-standing cognitive misconception persists: equating "initial purchase price" with "final cost." Many owners and construction units habitually compare material prices per square meter while overlooking that building waterproofing is a systematic project spanning decades. When we expand our perspective from "immediate procurement" to "full lifecycle," calculating hidden expenditures such as material lifespan, maintenance costs, and losses from repair-related downtime over 30-50 years, the true economic value of polymer waterproofing materials becomes evident.

The technical advantages of HDPE (MBP) pre-applied reverse bonding method – an engineering revolution in polymer waterproof membranes.

In the field of underground waterproofing engineering, "water seepage" has been a persistent problem that has plagued the industry for decades. In traditional waterproofing methods, the waterproofing layer and the structural layer are separate. Once the waterproofing layer is partially damaged, groundwater can seep long distances along the gaps between the two, penetrating into the interior through weak points in the building structure, and the leakage point is extremely difficult to pinpoint. HDPE polymer self-adhesive pre-applied waterproof membrane and its matching pre-applied reverse-adhesive method are revolutionary solutions to this problem. This article will focus on Canlon's MBP-P and MBP-Pro series products to deeply analyze the core advantages and engineering value of this technology.

New Choice in Waterproofing: Comprehensive Analysis of Three Polymer Waterproofing Materials (PVC/TPO/HDPE)

In recent years, China's construction waterproofing industry has witnessed a transformative shift from traditional asphalt-based materials to advanced polymer materials. Three representative polymer waterproofing membranes—PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin), and HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene)—are becoming the preferred solution for modern construction waterproofing due to their exceptional performance. This article provides an in-depth analysis of the characteristics and applications of these three materials and highlights the innovative achievements of industry leader Canlon in the polymer sector.

Canlon Project Wins "Jinyu Award" Again – Jinji Lake Tunnel Main Waterproofing Project

The review process for the 2025 "Science and Technology Award for Building Waterproofing Industry - Engineering Technology Award (Jinyu Award - Waterproofing Engineering)" and "Science and Technology Award for Building Waterproofing Industry - Technological Progress Award" has been completed and is now open for public comment. Among them, Canlon won a silver award for engineering technology with its "Jinji Lake Tunnel Main Waterproofing Project" case, once again powerfully demonstrating the excellent quality of the integrated waterproofing system.

Honor Canlon | Masterpiece! Suzhou Bay Cultural Center project included in the 2025 "High-quality Engineering Waterproofing Materials and Technologies" white paper

On October 14-15, the 2025 Waterproofing and Anti-corrosion Technology Exchange Conference, guided by the China Construction Industry Association and hosted by the China Construction Industry Association's Building Waterproofing Branch, was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. At the conference, the projects included in the 2025 white paper "High-quality Engineering Waterproofing Materials and Technologies" were announced, and the "Suzhou Bay Cultural Center (Suzhou Grand Theater, Wujiang Expo Center) Project , " in which Canlon participated in the construction, was honored to be selected.

Industry News | How Canlon Became the 'Invisible Guardian' of Jiangsu's New Housing Tech.

Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development released the second batch of new technologies for key promotion and application in improved housing. Starting from waterproof materials, water supply and drainage, renewable energy, prefabricated decoration, and all-age friendliness, a batch of new technologies and processes were announced to promote the construction of safe, comfortable, green and smart improved housing. The document prioritizes the promotion of waterproofing materials and new technologies for underground and roofing projects, including polymer-modified asphalt waterproofing membranes, synthetic polymer waterproofing membranes, reactive polymer waterproofing coatings, and hot-melt rubberized asphalt waterproofing coatings. Waterproofing materials suitable for interior, roofing, and exterior wall projects can include polymer emulsion waterproofing coatings and cement-based waterproofing materials, and detailed requirements are outlined.

Canlon Wins the Highest Award for Waterproofing Projects Again! Shenzhen Bao’an Airport Satellite Hall Waterproofing Project Demonstrates Our Quality

On November 19, the results of the 2024 "Building Waterproofing Industry Science and Technology Award-Engineering Technology Award (Jinyu Award-Waterproofing Project)" were announced, and the Shenzhen Bao'an Airport Satellite Hall Waterproofing Project in which CANLON participated in the construction won the silver award.
