Fujian Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant

Project Introduction

Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant is located in Qianxue Village, Sanshan Town, Fuqing City, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, China. The project scale is 6 million-kilowatt pressurized water reactor nuclear power units. Fuqing million-kilowatt nuclear power units are currently China's most independent and domestically produced nuclear power units, and their safety is very reliable. The two million-kilowatt units built in the first phase of the project are planned to be completed and generate electricity in 2013 and 2014 respectively.

Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant is expected to become a symbol of the improvement of China's nuclear power development technology level and management model, and will also be a microcosm of China's nuclear power entering the fast lane of development. Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant also won the National Quality Engineering Award.
