Excellent CANLON | Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport Phase III Project Successfully Passed Completion Inspection

Recently, China Construction Third Bureau released the latest news that Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport Phase III project has successfully passed the completion inspection and is scheduled to be completed and put into operation before the Asian Games in 2022. This is another key project in Zhejiang Province in which CANLON is involved in the construction!

As a guarantee project for the 2022 Asian Games, the Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport Phase III Project is one of the ten landmark projects of the construction of the Grand Corridor in Zhejiang Province, and is also the largest GTC comprehensive transportation interchange centre under construction in the national airport category, which will realize seamless interchange of high-speed rail, metro and bus after completion. By then, Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport will become an Asia-Pacific gateway hub and a national comprehensive transportation hub, forming an international effect serving the whole world.

The project has a total construction area of approximately 640,000 square meters, including a 4-storey civil air-defense basement, two 10-storey towers, two 9-storey towers and a 3-storey podium, with a total building height of 44.5 metres for the towers and 18 metres for the podium. Among them, the waterproofing area of about 250,000 square meters, and CANLON’s MBA-CL HDPE cross-laminated film post-applied waterproofing membrane, SBS and APP modified bitumen waterproofing membrane and other product systems are applied for the terminal building and traffic centre and other different parts. Suzhou Canlon Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. is responsible for the construction, providing a full range of care for supporting facilities.
