Enterprising Canlon | Written into the Government Work Report for the First Time: What Is A "good House"? Canlon Has Something To Say!

This year's government work report proposed to meet the people's needs for high-quality housing, improve standards and specifications, and promote the construction of safe, comfortable, green and smart "good houses".

Minister of Housing and Urban-Rural Development Ni Hong said that with the development of economy and society, the progress of science and technology and the changes in people's needs, "good housing" is a process of keeping pace with the times. But in summary, there are four characteristics, namely green, low-carbon, smart and safe. Let people live healthily, use conveniently, save money for residents, save energy for society, and let residents live in peace and security.

Therefore, further leveraging professional advantages, combining market demand, and promoting the construction of "good houses" has also become an important direction for industry exploration.

Q:How does Canlon do it?

Taking "green, low-carbon, intelligent and safe" as the standard, Canlon based on the standpoint and original intention of the building materials industry, believes that to serve the standards well, good design and good materials are needed; good systems and good construction are also needed; at the same time, on the manufacturing end, enterprises must strengthen technological empowerment and promote new construction methods such as green construction and digital management on the application end.

Practicing green buildings and exploring a low-carbon future

Taking "green + low carbon" as an example, in the nearly three years from 2019 to 2021, Canlon provided hundreds of thousands of square meters of polymer waterproofing membranes for the construction of low-carbon communities in the Kriens area of Switzerland.

The area has a low-carbon living residential area consisting of 490 apartments. All buildings such as shops, restaurants, baths and various workshops have passed the Minergie P-Eco standard certification (Swiss low-energy building certification) and implemented the innovative green standard of the 2000-Watt community (2000-Watt-Areal, the per capita energy consumption standard is calculated based on 2000 watts), which has a strong leading role in the concept of green living.

The construction of such new communities requires the implementation of low-carbon standards in all aspects such as materials, construction, and durability, and often has higher requirements for product certification and carbon emissions. Therefore, Canlon took the lead in the industry to pass the "Product Carbon Footprint Verification Statement" and "Energy Management System Certification", demonstrating the leading advantages of related products in environmental protection and sustainable development.

Optimize urban space and build projects that win the hearts of the people

At the same time, Canlon noticed that the government work report also proposed to "optimize the urban spatial structure and land use methods." This means that building "good houses" is not an isolated action in essence, but a systematic project that must be organically combined with the construction of "good communities, good neighborhoods, and good urban areas."

"Good houses" do not refer exclusively to commercial houses. As a government project, affordable housing is a people's project and should also be built into "good houses". As the responsible entity of building materials enterprises, we should fully strengthen the comprehensive service capabilities of enterprises in urban renewal construction.

In recent years, Canlon has not only obtained the first batch of national innovative technology products for the renovation of old communities, but also created representative cases such as the "Three Supplies and One Industry Renovation Project in the Enterprise Community in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province", "Jiaojiang Qiaodong Renovation Project in Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province", "Old Community in Daowai District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province", and "Shantytown Renovation Project in Biangezhai Area, Lubei District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province", contributing to the construction of "good houses", and ultimately achieving the comprehensive goal of "good communities, good neighborhoods, and good urban areas".

Empowering a happy ecosystem from underground to above ground

Canlon believes that a "good house" is not just about the appearance of the building itself, but also exists in underground and above-ground parking lots, green belts, drainage networks and other aspects.

Canlon has innovatively launched diversified floor system solutions, which can not only highly customize project needs in terms of aesthetics, but also adopt different combination designs according to the application characteristics of different areas of the underground garage to meet the emotional and value needs of residents.

In addition, Canlon designed and launched the Canlon SDR siphon drainage collection system, which is deeply integrated with the concept of sponge city construction and can be cleverly integrated with sunken green spaces, rainwater gardens, dry creeks, grass-planted ditches, permeable pavements, etc.

Building a good house is a long and arduous task. The benefits of the present will last for generations to come.

Study the government work report and focus on the needs of human well-being. Canlon will continue to innovate and never stop .
