Boutique Canlon | A Retrospective of Classic Canlon Flooring Cases – Nanqiao Academy

Today, we'll tell the story of Nanqiao Academy.

Nanqiao Academy is located in Nanqiao Town, Fengxian District, which was formed as a market town at the end of the Tang Dynasty. The canal that runs through the town was dug during the Southern Song Dynasty. The rich historical buildings record the changes of this ancient town over nearly a thousand years.

The streets from the Song Dynasty, the ancient bridge from the Ming Dynasty, the soy sauce shop from the Qing Dynasty, the garden residence built in the early 20th century, and the former site of the Anti-Japanese War Command Headquarters, which was once a Catholic church priest's building, each preserve a part of the unique historical memory of Nanqiao Town.

Nanqiao Academy was founded in 1978 and has moved twice. Its predecessor was " Joseph's School ", which was founded by a Catholic church in 1914. It was later renamed Nanqiao Middle School Affiliated to Fengxian Middle School in Shanghai and is a well-known century-old school in Shanghai.

In 2021, based on the principles of "in-situ regeneration, gradual renewal, and respect for history" and combined with the renovation needs of the century-old school, Canlon tailored a flooring project for Nanqiao College in Fengxian District, Shanghai.

In high-traffic areas, accidents such as falls and slips are common, necessitating protective and slip-resistant features. Simultaneously, the reality of frequent foot traffic creates an objective conflict with the ideal of a quiet teaching environment, easily disrupting normal teaching. Canlon Flooring 's products, possessing high strength, wear resistance, chemical resistance, and environmental friendliness, offer a variety of system solutions tailored to different needs in various settings, perfectly solving this problem.

Canlon used green building materials in this project to protect students' health, promote environmental protection concepts, and the customized artistic patterns present a more academic visual effect, allowing more students to enter the halls of science and art in a healthy and happy way and immerse themselves in the ocean of knowledge.
